Our Team

Dr. Brandon Luu earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University after completing his undergraduate studies at UC Riverside. 

Dr. Luu manages and treats eye infections and injuries as well as fitting specialty contact lenses. He also co-manages LASIK surgery, cataract surgery, and manages and treats glaucoma, eye infections, and injuries. 

Dr. Luu speaks fluent Spanish.

​In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, bicycle riding, playing basketball, and outdoor sports. 

For more than 50 years, Dr. Richard Peters has proudly served the Wilmington community, providing compassionate and personalized eye care for generations of families. Known for his dedication to patient well-being, Dr. Peters combines decades of clinical expertise with a warm, approachable style that makes every patient feel valued.

Dr. Peters earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he built the foundation for what would become a lifelong commitment to excellence in vision care. Over the course of his career, he has helped countless patients achieve clearer, healthier vision, while continually adapting to advances in eye care technology and treatment.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Peters is an avid sports fan and enjoys football, basketball, tennis and golf to name a few. He is especially enthusiastic about the Los Angeles Lakers more so now since the Luka Dončić trade. 

With a deep love for both his profession and his community, Dr. Peters remains committed to ensuring that his patients enjoy the best possible vision—because he truly believes that clearer vision leads to a better life.

Dr. Barai has been part of the  Wilmington Eye Care family for more than 10 years. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered eye care and is passionate about the relationships she builds with patients. She enjoys the collaborative, supportive environment she shares with her colleagues with a lot of laughter sprinkled throughout the day. 

When she's not in the exam lane, Dr. Barai enjoys spending time with her husband of 16 years and their two children, whether it's family game nights, movie nights, or planning their next trip together.  She also prioritizes staying active at the gym and loves getting lost in a good book.
